More casting has been announced for NBC's Hairspray LIVE which will be broadcast in the States on 7th December .
Disney stars Dove Cameron and Garrett Clayton will play Amber von Tussle and Link Larkin with Emmy winner Sean Hayes as Mr Pinky.
Also joining the previously announced cast of Kristin Chenoweth as Velma Von Tussle, Jennifer Hudson as Motormouth
Maybelle, Martin Short as Wilbur Turnblad, Derek Hough as Corny Collins,
Ariana Grande as Penny Pingleton and newcomer Maddie Baillio as Tracy, is comedian/television personality/former Broadway actress Rosie O'Donnell who will play Tracy Turnblad's gym teacher. Harvey Fierstein will reprise his performance as Edna Turnblad, the role he originated on Broadway, as well as writing the screenplay for the live broadcast,
Hairspray LIVE will be directed by Kenny Leon who helmed The Wiz LIVE last year. He will work alongside the show's original choreographer Jerry Mitchell. It is being shown in the UK on Friday 9th December on ITV2 at 8:00 pm
