The powerhouse and Olivier award-winning actress Sharon D Clarke, is currently rehearsing the musical The Life which is about New York street-walkers and pimps written by Cy Coleman and Ira Gasman. She is playing Sonja who has the big show-stopping number The Oldest Profession
The Life is being directed by Michael Blakemore, who directed the original production on Broadway two decades ago. It will run at the Southwark Playhouse with previews from 29th March to
