Sheridan Smith to tour next year

Star of West End smash hits including Legally Blonde and Funny Girl, Sheridan Smith has announced a UK concert  tour for 2018 that will see her visit cities including:

10th April    Gateshead, The Sage   
13th April    Liverpool, Philharmonic Hall
16th April    Manchester, Bridgewater Hall    
17th April    Blackpool, Opera House
19th April    Nottingham, Royal Concert Hall  
22nd April   Norwich Theatre Royal
24th April    London, Royal Albert Hall  
26th April    Edinburgh, The Playhouse
29th April   Cardiff, Wales Millennium Centre

Tickets for the tour go on sale at 09:00  next Friday 3rd November .She will be performing some of her favourite songs, as well as tracks from the new record. There is also a special programme about her life and career to be aired on ITV at 9:00 pm on 5th November.

Sheridan, who won Oliver Awards for her roles in hit musical Legally Blonde and the 2012 production of Terence Rattigan’s Flare Path, has also previously won a BAFTA TV award for her role in Mrs Biggs (playing Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs’ wife), and a National Television Award for playing ‘60s pop icon Cilla Black in the acclaimed TV dramatisation about the singer’s life.

Sheridan was last seen in the West End in Funny Girl, playing the iconic role of Fanny Brice, a role which brought global fame to the legendary Barbra Streisand 50 years earlier and boasts some of the most famous solo numbers in musical theatre history, such as People and Don’t Rain on My Parade.
