Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp is to return to the role of Captain Hook in an arena tour of Peter Pan. He played the part in last year's tour of the same show with Bradley Walsh in London and Birmingham. This year he is joined by Milton Jones, best known for his standup and appearances on shows including Mock the Week, who will play Mr Smee with Matt Knight (BBC's Let It Shine) as Peter Pan.
The cast will be joined by over 100 circus and young ensemble members, performing on a stage featuring a 10,000-gallon water wall and a seven-meter long crocodile. The piece will also have the highest Peter Pan flight on record.
The production runs at Belfast's SSE Arena from 15 to 16 December, before transferring to Leeds First Direct Arena between 21 and 23 December and Manchester Arena between 28 and 29 December.
Kemp said: "I can't wait to be Captain Hook again after the amazing success of Wembley and Birmingham last year where this show blew me and audiences away. It was dubbed the world's biggest pantomime, but it is so much more than a panto. It's completely different and the special effects are astonishing."
