Misty extends run at Trafalgar Studios

Updated 29th September: Misty is to  extend its run at Trafalgar Studios, and will now continue through until 17th  November. Oscar nominated actor Daniel Kaluuya joined Kene and Anthony Welsh to announce the extension.

Arinzé Kene's Misty, which was sold out when it premiered at West London's  Bush Theatre earlier this year, is to transfer to London's Trafalgar Studios for six weeks only from 8 September to 20 October.
Misty will be directed by the Bush Theatre’s Omar Elerian. Through a blend of  music, poetry, drama and live art with an original music score which is performed live during the show, Arinzé Kene delivers an epic, heartfelt and playful exploration of creative freedom, set against a pulsing vision of modern London.

Kene is a playwright and actor, with credits including the Bob Dylan musical Girl From the North Country as well as The Pass opposite Russell Tovey and Been So Long opposite Michaela Coel. where he stars as Joe. His previous plays include Good Dog, which ran at Watford Palace Theatre last year.

Misty has direction by Omar Elerian, design by Rajha Shakiry, lighting by Jackie Shemesh, sound by Elena Peña, dramaturgy by Kirsty Housely, video design by Daniel Denton with music by Shiloh Coke and Adrian McLeod. The role of Little Girl will be played by Mya Napoleon / Rene Powell.
