Arts Educational School's Jac Yarrow, will play the tile role in the new West End production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat joining the already cast Sheridan Smith as the Narrator and Jason Donovan as Pharoah. Lloyd Webber and Rice had already told producer Michael Harrison, that they wanted a
20-year-old ‘new discovery’ to play Joseph in Dreamcoat.
Jac is just 21 years old and comes from the village of Creigiau, near Cardiff. He came to everyone's attention when he stood out playing the lead role in Newsies at ArtsEd. He has been given special dispensation by the College to
begin rehearsing Joseph a month before his graduation date in June. He was told he had won the role on his 21st birthday saying This is more than I can ever imagine. Let
alone for my first job straight out of college, and to be working with
Sheridan and Jason. It’ll be like a getting a masterclass.
