David Bedella is to join the cast of &Juliet, it has been announced. He will star as Lance alongside the already announced Miriam-Teak Lee,
Oliver Tompsett, Cassidy Janson, Arun Blair-Mangat, Melanie La Barrie,
Jordan Luke Gage and Tim Mahendran.
The two-time Olivier Award-winner's work includes roles in Jerry Springer the Opera and In the Heights. Theatre credits include: Kevin Rosario in In The Heights (King’s Cross Theatre, Olivier Award), Paul in A Chorus Line, Warm Up Man/Satan in Jerry Springer The Opera (Cambridge Theatre, Olivier Award), Roger DeBris in The Producers (UK Tour), Frank N Furter in Rocky Horror Live (Playhouse Theatre), Nell Gwynn (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre)Film credits include: Batman Begins and Alexander TV credits include: By Any Means, Inside No. 9 and Deep State.
It has a limited run in Manchester in September, before opening in London in November.
The new musical features songs written by pop composer Max Martin,
who has written some of the biggest pop tracks of the last 30 years,
including tunes performed by Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Britney
Spears, Katy Perry and Ariana Grande.
