Patricia Routledge joins Janie Dee Joanna Riding and Hadley Fraser Carousel at Cadogan Hall

Updated 3rd May: Dame Patricia Routledge will join the cast as the Narrator. She has won an Olivier Award for Candide and a Tony Award for Darling of the Day, previously starred alongside Riding and Dee in the 1992 National Theatre production of the show.
Janie Dee and Joanna Riding won Olivier Awards for their performances in Carousel at the National Theatre in 1992 and will now  return to the roles of Julie Jordan and Carrie Pipperidge in a special concert production of Carousel at the Cadogan Hall this summer.They  are currently appearing together in the National's hit production of Follies and will be joined  by Hadley Fraser (Young Frankenstein)playing  Billy Bigelow.

The will be joined by Gavin Spokes as Enoch Snow, Chizzy Akudolu as Mrs Mullin, Stewart Clarke as Jigger and Lucy Schaufer as Nettie Fowler. The GSA singers from the Guildford School of Acting will also be joining the production

The 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, follows carousel barker Bigelow's  budding romance with millworker Jordan, featuring classic  numbers including "You'll Never Walk Alone", "Mr Snow" "June Is Bustin' Out All Over" and "If I Loved You".

The special one off concert at Cadogan Hall will run on Sunday 19 May at 6.30pm and will feature a 31-piece orchestra conducted by Alex Parker.
