Louise Dearman, Matt Ford, Mikaela Bennett and Kate Lindsey performing with John Wilson Orchestra in The Warner Brothers Story BBC Prom

Musical theatre stars including  Louise Dearman, Matt Ford, Mikaela Bennett and Kate Lindsey with the Maida Vale Singers will feature as part of this year's BBC Proms in The Warner Brothers Story  at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 9th August at 3:00pm  and 7.30pm: it will be  broadcast live on BBC Four and BBC Radio 3. The concert will be conducted by John Wilson and will feature his  orchestra presenting an evening of scores from the Golden Age of Hollywood cinema with music from films including The Sea Hawk, The Constant Nymph, Calamity Jane, A Streetcar Named Desire and Harry Potter. 

On the night, there will be a tribute to Doris Day, with "Deadwood Stage" from Calamity Jane being performed, while the 50th anniversary of the death of Judy Garland will be marked with a complete performance of "Born in a Trunk" from the original A Star is Born film.
