Jason Manford to return as host for Olivier Awards 2020

Jason Manford is to return as host for Olivier Awards 2020 with Mastercard which takes place at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 5th  April. This is the third time the comedian, actor and singer will host the prestigious ceremony, celebrating the best of London’s theatre,

Jason Manford is an award-winning comedian, broadcaster and actor. As well as frequent television appearances on shows like 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Live At The Apollo, Jason boasts numerous stage credits, including the multi-Olivier Award-winning production of Sweeney Todd, an acclaimed UK tour of The Producers, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Jason is currently hosting a new game show First And Last on Saturday night TV and has recently been starring in a new touring production of the Kander and Ebb musical  whodunnit Curtains  including a West End run between December 2019 and January 2020.Manford who is currently starring in the  said: ‘It’s great to be back hosting the Olivier Awards. Having trod the boards myself many times, I’ve experienced first-hand the huge wealth of creativity and talent across the UK theatre industry.  I look forward to celebrating all the incredible work produced over the last year. Olivier Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday 3rd March, and public tickets for the ceremony go on sale on Friday 24th  January. Further details of plans for this year’s Olivier Awards will be revealed soon.
