Rachael Wooding joins cast of Pretty Woman Musical

According to an instagram post from the director Jerry Mitchell, Rachael Wooding has joined the cast  of Pretty Woman the Musical playing the role of Kit, Vivian’s best friend. She joins the previously announced leads Aimie Atkinson and Danny Mac.

Rachael Wooding is probably best known for her performances in We Will Rock You, playing Meat and Scaramouche. She began her musical theatre career  in Germany performing in Cats and Starlight Express followed by West End success in Saturday Night Fever and Fame. She played Amber in the original London cast of Hairspray the Musical followed by the title role in Evita the Musical on the UK tour. She featured as Mary Delgado in the West End production of Jersey Boys and in October 2012 she returned to We Will Rock You to play Scaramouche opposite  Oliver Tompsett as Galileo.

Pretty Woman: The Musical starts previews  on Valentine's Day this year  at the Piccadilly Theatre. It features direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots & Hairspray).
