A new UK & Ireland tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast to start in May 2021

The Mail's Baz Bamigboye has just announced a new UK & Ireland tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is due to start in May 2021, opening with a five week run at the Curve Leicester. Casting is currently underway and further information including tour dates will be announced in the autumn

Producers Disney Theatrical have confirmed the original Broadway creative team is set to return, led by director Robert Jesse Roth and choreographer Matt West, bringing new designs and choreography to the show. Adapted from Walt Disney Pictures' Academy Award-winning 1991 animated musical film of the same name Beauty and the Beast is a musical with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton.
