An evening of the best songs from the most popular West End and Broadway shows starring Edward Reid (Britain’s Got Talent), Jacqueline Hughes (Wicked), Sarah Galbraith (Phantom of the Opera, Broadway) and Neil Thomas (Little Shop of Horrors) performing numbers  from shows including Les Miserables, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera.

New tour of A Night At The Musicals Starring Kerry Ellis, Ray Quinn And Lucie Jones

The Novello Orchestra is too Tour The UK in November with A Night At The Musicals starring Kerry Ellis, Ray Quinn and  Lucie Jones

The musicals spectacular led by David Mahoney will feature The Novello Orchestra and a star-studded line up will including Kerry Ellis (whose credits include Wicked and Les Misérables), Dancing on Ice winner and X Factor star Ray Quinn (Grease, Summer Holiday), and Lucie Jones (Legally Blonde, Ghost, Rent, We Will Rock You), fresh from representing the UK in last year's Eurovision Song Contest.

The celebration of musical theatre will feature show-stopping songs from Wicked, Les Misérables, Chicago, Hairspray, Miss Saigon and many more.

The show will visit:

  •     Southend Cliffs Pavilion Tuesday 6 November
  •     Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre - Wednesday 7 November

Kerry Ellis, Matt Cardle, Noel Sullivan, Sophie Evans and Lucie Jones in A Night at the Musicals

A Night at the Musicals comes to Cardiff St David's Hall for one night only on Sunday 29th October at 7:30 pm.
 
The musicals spectacular led by Only Men Aloud’s David Mahoney will feature The Novello Orchestra, with the West End’s Kerry Ellis, Matt Cardle, Noel Sullivan, Sophie Evans and Lucie Jones

The star-studded line up will include leading lady Kerry Ellis, whose credits include Wicked and Les Misérables, X Factor winner Matt Cardle, former Hear’Say singer and star of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Noel Sullivan, Wicked’s soon to be Glinda Sophie Evans and Lucie Jones, fresh from representing the UK in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

The 25 piece Novello Orchestra, a name synonymous with the glitz and glamour of the musicals, will make its St David’s Hall debut  after recent acclaimed performances at the London Palladium, Royal Festival Hall and Wales Millennium Centre.

The show will feature show-stopping songs from Wicked, Les Misérables, Chicago, Hairspray, Miss Saigon and many more – and all under the baton of Only Men Aloud’s David Mahoney.

Julie Atherton & Keith Jack A Night at the Musicals

Updated 17th July: Carley Stenson (Hollyoaks, Legally Blonde, Shrek) now joining line up as guest singer on Friday.

Updated 2nd July: Julie Atherton, best known for her roles in Avenue Q and Sister Act, will now be joining the line up.  Zoe Birkett has had to pull out due to unforeseen circumstances.

 Multi Award Winning Sell A Door Theatre Company are presenting A Night at the Musicals featuring  musical theatre stars including Keith Jack (BBC’s Any Dream Will Do), David Hunter (ITV’s Superstar) and Stacey McClean (S Club Juniors). Keith is also shortly to appear in another Sell A Door production Sincerely, Mr Toad which is a new musical about the life of Wind in the Willows author Kenneth Grahame.

Be prepared for an evening of glitz, glamour and toe-tapping tunes from Broadway and the West End revisiting old favourites and presenting new treasures.

A Night At the Musicals is being performed on 19th and 20th July at 8:00 pm at Greenwich Theatre

The 2012 Cardiff Music Festival comes to a spectacular climax on Sunday 7th October with a celebration of musical theatre at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff

Following last year’s success, A Night at the Musicals returns with a live orchestra and stars of the West End and Broadway with Connie Fisher presenting and singers including Kerry Ellis, John Owen-Jones, Mark Evans, Sophie Evans, Lucie Jones, Lauren Samuels and soloists from Classical Brit Award winning choir Only Men Aloud.

They will present an evening of musical theatre favourites with songs from shows including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Chess, The Wizard of Oz, Chicago, South Pacific and Sweet Charity.

On 7th October the finale of the 2012 Cardiff Music Festival presents the star-studded A Night at the Musicals celebrating of musical theatre.  

Connie Fisher (The Sound of Music, Wonderful Town) presents the line-up of singers including John Owen-Jones (Phantom, Les Miserables), Kerry Ellis (Oliver, We Will Rock You, Wicked, Anthems), Mark Evans (Wicked, Ghost), Sophie Evans (Wizard of Oz), Lucie Jones (Les Miserables) and Lauren Samuels (Grease) plus soloists from the Only Men Aloud choir.  

They will be performing songs from musicals including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Chess, The Wizard of Oz, Chicago, South Pacific and Sweet Charity
