BBC Children in Need Celebrity Line-Up For Pop Goes The Musical 2012

After its sensational West End debut last year, BBC Children in Need is thrilled to be working with the smash hits of London theatre to launch POP Goes the Musical 2012. This unique charity project is, for the second year running, challenging a group of renowned celebrities to tread the West End boards and perform a hit song from a top theatre show in the run up to BBC Children in Need Appeal Night on Friday 16th November.

The sensational celebrities involved in this year’s unique curtain call challenge include the legendary Geri Halliwell who will be adding her own spice to Singin’ in the Rain, the sensational Alexandra Burke who will be performing in Les Misérables, the ultimate boy band Blue will be taking on JERSEY BOYS, plus magnificent Macy Gray and chart-busters Stooshe will each separately put their own spin on a Michael Jackson classic in Thriller Live.

Don’t miss out on what is set to be a series of nights to remember; your chance to experience all the fun of a West End Show with the addition of a one-off performance from your favourite artists. There will be no room for error as the celebrities follow the world-class casts of these legendary productions. The celebrities are proven stars but can they handle the pressure of a packed theatre?
