Dan Partridge ( Hairspray, Mamma Mia!) and Olivia Moore (Waitress, Heathers) will star as Danny and Sandy. Peter Andre will make his West End debut playing the role of Vince Fontaine at certain performances.

Grease the musical announces new 2017 tour
It will open at the Manchester Palace Theatre between 10th and 25th March 2017, with further dates and venues to be announced shortly .
The most recent UK tour of Grease ended in December 2012 starred Danny Bayne as Danny, Carina Gillespie as Sandy, Ricky Rojas as Kenickie and Kate Somerset How as Rizzo. Casting for the 2017 tour has not been confirmed.

The principal cast is completed by Bronté Barbe (Over The Rainbow) as Sharon, Nadine Cox (Wicked) as Ms Mason, Joshua Dowen (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) as Louis, Evelyn Hoskins (Spring Awaking, Misfits) as Rhonda, Kane Oliver Parry (The Light Princess) as Goose and Ben Stott (Into the Woods,Wicked) as Davey.
They will be joined by Amy Bridges, Luke Dart, Joao Diogo, Callum Evans, Beki Hamilton, Ross Harbron, Cameron Hay, Megan Jenkins, Millie-rose Keutenius,Meesha Lyth, Alice Martin, Jordan Matthews, Phil McCloskey, Samuel Morgan-Grahame, Simone Murphy, Parisa Shahmir, Rose Shalloo, Genevieve Taylor, George Tebbutt, Sam Toland, Jessica West and Richard Watkins.
Grease 2 is being performed live in concert for one night only at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue on Monday 27th January 2014 at 7:30pm and 11:00 pm.
Telling the love story of Pink Lady Stephanie Zinone and English student Michael Carrington, Grease 2 follows their road to romance from bowling alley to burger joint, sing-a-long-a-sex education class to talent show, and long romantic motorcycle rides to a slightly incongruous ending.
Featuring the hit songs including Who’s That Guy?, Score Tonight, Cool Rider, Girl for all Seasons and Rock-a-Hula Luau (Summer Is Coming), Grease 2 In Concert celebrates the infamous styles, moves and wheels of the greatest high school of all time.

Tour Dates for Grease the Musical
It is currently playing at the Piccadlly Theatre in London's West End until 30th April with Lauren Samuels leaving the show on 22nd February and some cast changes being made from the 24th until the end of its run.
Casting is still to be announced for the tour.

Carina Gillespie to take over from Lauren Samuels in Grease
Carina Gillespie made her professional stage debut as Maria Elena in The Buddy Holly Story (UK & Scandinavian tours). Other theatre credits include Linda in Bloodbath- The Musical (Edinburgh Festival) and Princess Tamara in Jack in the Beanstalk (Regents Theatre, Ipswich).
The new class of Rydell High from 24th January also includes David O'Reilly (‘Roger'), Michael Pickering (‘Doody'), Zoe Doano (‘Frenchy'), Matthew Russell-Jones (‘Eugene'), Nancy Hill ‘(Miss Lynch') and Kristina MacMillan (‘Cha Cha'), Other cast members who will continue in their roles include Jamie Capewell (‘Kenickie'), Siubhan Harrison (‘Rizzo'), Bennett Andrews (‘Sonny'), Robyn Mellor (‘Marty'), Susannah Allman (‘Patty') and Jason Capewell (Teen Angel/Vince Fontaine) and Kerry Winter will stay with the show to take over the role of ‘Jan'.
Grease the musical is then due to start a UK tour starting at the Edinburgh Playhouse on 6th May.

Matthew Goodgame taking over from Noel Sullivan in Grease
Goodgame made his West End debut in 2004 playing Billy Flynn in Chicago at the Adelphi Theatre, after winning the Channel 4 series Musicality. Since then he has reprised the role of Billy Flynn in Singapore and Las Vegas with the Cellophane Company.
He will star opposite Lauren Samuels (BBC1 Over the Rainbow finalist) who is playing the part of Sandy having joined the cast in July.
Noel Sullivan is leaving the show on 25th September to join the new tour of We Will Rock You playing the part of Galileo.
Also joining the Grease cast from 27th September are Jamie Capewell as Kenickie and Giovanni Spano playing Doody.
Grease closing at Piccadilly on 30th April 2011 to make way for Ghost?
Grease was originally booking until September 2011 and will go straight out on tour when it leaves London's West End.

Meanwhile Lauren Samuels who was one of the final three in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Over the Rainbow may not have got the part of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, but has landed the part of Sandy in Grease which she opens in tonight at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Abba’s Thank You For The Music Concert
The tribute band Abba Magic will play hits including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Super Trouper, Knowing Me Knowing You; The Name of the Game and Waterloo.
They will be joined by Bee Gees Magic who will play Maurice, Barry and Robin’s hits from the 70s including Stayin' Alive, Massachusetts, Night Fever, How Deep Is Your Love as well as numbers like Islands In The Stream, Heartbreaker and Chain Reaction which they wrote for other artists.

Noel Sullivan from Grease to join We Will Rock You tour
But Sullivan is now due to leave the show later this year to join the tour of We Will Rock You you which opens at the Palace Theatre in Manchester on 3rd December and runs until January 2012. Prior to Grease he appeared in Fame, Flashdance and Love Shack.

Over the Rainbow’s Lauren playing Sandy in Grease
She may not be heading up the Yellow Brick Road but instead she is enrolling at Rydell High in the musical Grease to take over the role of Sandy from Siobhan Dillon.
Lauren joins the cast of Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre on 26th July and is scheduled to play Sandy to 22nd January next year starring alongside former Hear'say pop star Noel Sullivan who continues in the role of Danny.

Musicals Compete in West End Eurovision Contest
This will be held on Thursday 20th May at 11.30 pm at the Piccadilly Theatre in aid of TheatreMAD (Theatre: Make a Difference), the charity which supports those living with HIV, AIDS and other long-term conditions.
The casts from eleven West End musicals: Avenue Q, Billy Elliot, Dirty Dancing, Dreamboats & Petticoats, Legally Blonde, Les Miserables, Love Never Dies, The Phantom of the Opera, We Will Rock You, Wicked, a company from Jermyn Street Theatre and last year’s winner Mamma Mia! will compete by putting their stamp on a previous Eurovision song. Special guests Bardo will perform their 1982 Eurovision entry “One Step Further”.
The winners will be decided by the audience who vote via text message.

Dancing on Ice Duo Up for West End Roles
One tabloid newspaper reported that a producer has been impressed by the "chemistry" between the couple and they could be linked to roles in the musical Chicago.
Don’t be horrified as apparently Dan can sing as well as dance and Hayley's got a great voice. The ex Emmerdale actress was runner-up in ITV's Soapstar Superstar which led to her singing with Michael Ball at the Opera House in Blackpool . She has also done numerous pantos, plàyed Frenchie in Grease, Diana Morales in A Chorus Line as well as appearing in Boogie Nights, Mamma Mia!, Fame. and The Rocky Horror Show.

Robin Cousins is new Teen Angel in Grease
The former Olympic champion and Dancing on Ice judge will guest star for a limited season until 19th June at the Piccadilly Theatre.
Robin is a gifted choreographer with ice interpretations of The Wizard of Oz, Starlight Express and Disney's Toy Story. Away from the ice, Robin has appeared in Cats, The Rocky Horror Show (in the West End) and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. He is currently commentating for the BBC on figure skating at the Winter Olympics and will return as head judge to the ice panel of Dancing on Ice this weekend.
