Jersey Boys musical to feature in The Other Guys film

A new film starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg called The Other Guys is a comedy about two police detectives who try to reinvent themselves as the best cops in town.

During the action they go to see the Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons musical Jersey Boys in a scene that was filmed on the Las Vegas strip.

If you want to see the show live and nearer to home then Jersey Boys is playing at the Prince Edward Theatre in London’s West End where it is booking until 10th April 2011.

Jersey Boys Celebrates it Second London Birthday with new cast members

Jersey Boys opened in London’s West End at the Prince Edward Theatre two years ago and will celebrate its second London birthday on March 18.  Joining the cast for the third year of its run will be Jon Boydon playing Tommy DeVito and Eugene McCoy playing Nick Massi.

Jon Boydon has appeared in We Will Rock You, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Rocky Horror Show and What A Feeling and Eugene McCoy has played featured roles in Mamma Mia! at the Prince of Wales Theatre and Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly.

The London cast continues to be headed by Ryan Molloy as Frankie Valli,  Stephen Ashfield as Bob Gaudio with Scott Monello as the alternate Frankie Valli.  They are joined by Simon Adkins (Bob Crewe), Jade Westaby (Mary Delgado), Mark Carroll (Donnie/Knuckles), Jye Frasca (Joe Pesci), Charlie Bull (Lorraine), Michelle Francis (Francine), Tee Jaye (Barry), Stuart Milligan (Gyp Decarlo), Joseph Prouse (Norm Waxman) and James Winter as Hank. Also in the cast are Michael Conway, Ben Evans, Lucinda Gill, Mark Isherwood, Paul Iveson, Zara Warren and Ben Wheeler.

Jersey Boys to perorm on Sundays


The award-winning Broadway musical Jersey Boys, which is playing in London's West End at the Prince Edward Theatre,  will perform Sunday matinees at 15:00 from 17th January.

The amended performance schedule at the Prince Edward Theatre is now Tuesdays to Saturdays at 19:30, with three matinee performances on Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday at 15:00

Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest pop music sensations of all time. They sold 175 million records worldwide before they were thirty with numbers including Sherry, Walk Like A Man, Big Girls Don't Cry and Can't Take My Eyes Off You

The London cast is currently headed by Ryan Molloy/Scott Monello  playing Frankie Valli with Stephen Ashfield, Glenn Carter and Philip Bulcock providing the remaining vocals for the Four Seasons.
