The musical Scrooge starring Tommy Steele was due to open at Wimbledon Theatre on 23rd October, but it has now been cancelled after the star was injured. The tour has also been removed from Birmingham Alexandra (28 October - 2 November) and High Wycombe Swan (5 - 9 November) and now looks as though it will open at the Southampton Mayflower on 12th November.
Apparently Tommy Steele has suffered an injury which requires immediate surgery. Hopefully he will be well enough for the show to open in November.
