BSL interpreted and autism friendly performances of Polka’s Snow Queen

The Polka Children’s Theatre is presenting the Snow Queen over the Christmas period. It is suitable children aged between 6-11 yers.

There is a BSL interpreted performance on Saturday 4th December at 14:00 when the two signers will be fully integrated and part of the action onstage.

On 30th December at 11:00 the theatre is presenting an autism friendly performance aimed at families with children who are on the autistic spectrum or have sensory sensitivities. The sound will be at a lower volume and the lights will be dimmed rather than a completely dark auditorium.

Harry Potter Hocus Pocus at Polka Theatre

Magician Paul Kieve is appearing at the Polka Children’s Theatre from 3rd to 5th June with his magic show Hocus Pocus which is suitable for anyone over the age of seven.

Kieve was a consultant on the Harry Potter films and the private tutor of Daniel Radcliffe. He has worked all over the world and with illusionists David Copperfield and Derren Brown.

Hocus Pocus is based on Kieve’s book of the same name and aims to bewilder and entertain as it takes the children on a journey through the past exploring the work of some of the world’s greatest magicians. Live music is provided by David Kieve.
