Thoroughly Modern Millie Tour starring Hayley Tamaddon cancelled

The tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie starring Hayley Tamaddon in the title role has been cancelled with immediate effect  due to poor ticket sales and financial difficulties. The show was supposed to be playing this week at the Bradford Alhambra and touring until August 2018

In a statement from the show’s production company, the producers have today said: We are extremely sorry to have to announce the cancellation of the UK tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie. This has been caused by lower ticket sales than expected, which in turn has put the company producing the show  in financial difficulties and they are no longer able to continue with the tour.   The show was wonderful, and received excellent  reviews as it toured the UK, but despite this, ticket sales were not strong enough to maintain the viability of the show.  Our hearts go out to the brilliant cast of the show, who sang and danced their hearts out to bring Thoroughly Modern Millie to audiences all over the country.  Sadly, and regretfully, the show is now cancelled.   We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this cancellation will cause everyone who was planning on seeing the show.

Ticketholders are advised to  refer back to their point of sale for a refund.
