Theatres across London’s West End will be participating in TheatreMAD’s World AIDS Day Theatre Bucket Collections between 23rd November and 6th December.
The campaign is run by the Make A Difference Trust and is fronted this year by Patrick Stewart. They aim to raise money to help people living with HIV/AIDS and entertainment professionals living with long-term medical conditions. They will also be holding a seasonal fundraising show entitled A West End Christmas at St Paul’s Church in Covent Garden on Sunday 6th December.
Last year almost 200 theatres across the UK participated in the bucket collections and raised around £100,000.
