Russ Abbot back as Fagin in Oliver!

Griff Rhys-Jones is currently playing Fagin in the production of Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane but is leaving on 12th June.

His replacement will be Russ Abbott (pictured) who played the part at the London Palladium 10 years ago, has toured with his gang and also stood in for Rowan Atkinson in the current production last year when he had to be absent for a couple of weeks  following a hernia operation.

Joining Russ Abbot in the cast change of Oliver! will be Stephen Moore, who replaces Julian Glover as Mr Brownlow.

Kerry Ellis will be staying with the production playing the part of Nancy and Steven Hartley will remain as Bill Sikes.
