Hair now closing on Broadway

As well as posting its closing notices at the Gielgud Theatre in London’s West End for 4th September, it has now been announced that Hair is closing on Broadway on 27th June.

The award winning show opened to rave reviews and has recouped its costs in New York, but recently it has been performing poorly at the box office, taking an average of only 30% of its potential gross over recent weeks.

The show has announced a national tour which will begin in October.
