Nick Jonas gets standing ovation at Les Miserables opening night

The youngest Jonas Brother Nick made his debut on London’s West End stage last night playing Marius in Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre. And the family were there to support him with older brothers Kevin and Joe causing quite a stir when they arrived at the theatre.

Nick Jonas will be playing the part of Marius for the next three weeks and then again at the special 25th Anniversary Concert at the 02 Arena in October.

Also making her debut last night was classically trained singer Camilla Kerslake who was discovered by Gary Barlow.  She is pictured here with Jonas as she is playing his love interest Cosette, again for a period of three weeks and again at the concert.

Jonas was given a standing ovation which was a relief as the 17-year-old had said that learning a different style of music took some getting used to but it had been interesting and fun.

His stint in Les Miserables stint promises to see Jonas Brother’s fans packing the theatre, but Nick said he wasn't worried that the audience would be filled with screaming girls saying “I believe they'll be respectful and they'll know the code of conduct at the theatre. Even if they do scream, it will just add to the excitement of the night.”
