Matthew Morrison from Glee heading for Donmar?

Matthew Morrison who plays Will Schuester in the US musical drama series Glee is in discussions with the Donmar Warehouse artistic director Michael Grandage about appearing in a production at the venue in the near future.

Morrison made a name for himself in musical theatre before landing the role in Glee, with Broadway credits including Hairspray and South Pacific. He is in the UK working on a new album which is due to be released at the end of the year.

He said he missed being on stage “more than anything” and although he is due to appear in two more series of Glee could work with the Donmar Warehouse because its runs tend to be shorter than other theatre commitments.
