Injured David Birrell returns to Passion at Donmar

The injured actor David Birrell who sustained damage to his face and eye when a prop gun misfired during a production of Stephen Sondheim's musical Passion at the Donmar Warehouse is now back playing the role of the Colonel.

Just glad to hear that he’s made a good enough recovery  to get back to work and relieved that they are using sound effects rather than a gun in the duelling scene where he sustained the injury.
