Ex-Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton to appear in Blood Brothers

Natasha Hamilton from the Liverpudlian girl band Atomic Kitten will make her West End debut next year playing Mrs Johnstone in Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers from 24th January 2011.

She is the latest celebrity cast in the role which has been played by Barbara Dickson, Kiki Dee, Carole King, Helen Reddy and Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm. Mel C is set to play the role again next week on the tour of Blood Brothers when it plays at the Liverpool Empire from 8th-20th November

Mrs Johnstone at the Phoenix Theatre is currently being played in the West End by 70's pop star Lyn Paul from the New Seekers who leaves on 20th November when Maureen Nolan from the Nolan Sisters returns to the role which she has played before.
