Ramin Karimloo (Love Never Dies) and Hadley Fraser (Les Miserables) have recently formed an Indie Folk Rock band called the Sheytoons. In case you are wondering where the name Sheytoons came from, it is a Farsi expression meaning "climb down from the Devil's donkey".
They are writing their own music which they says is inspired and influenced by The Avett Brothers, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Tragically Hip, Crooked Still, Fleet Foxes and Johnny Cash – quite a line up!
They hope to be releasing some studio work in the coming months, but in the meantime are gigging and have recently played Lauderdale House and Ronnie Scott’s. To find out more about forthcoming appearances visit their Facebook page.
