The Wizard of Oz Charity Gala for Prostate UK and Great Ormond Street Hospital

There is a special gala performance of the new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium on Tuesday 15th of February with Great Ormond Street Hospital and Prostate UK hosting this event.

The Wizard of Oz starts previews at the London Palladium on 7th February and opens on 1st March.  It stars Michael Crawford as the eponymous Wizard of Oz, Hannah Waddingham as the Wicked Witch of the West  and Danielle Hope (who won BBC TV’s Over the Rainbow) as Dorothy.

Proceeds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity will go to the Theatres for Theatres Appeal which aims to raise £4M over three years to go towards two new operating theatres for their Neurosciences team. The theatres will be used to treat children with complex and often life-threatening neurological and craniofacial conditions.
