Spice Girls Viva Forever Musical Delayed

Although the director and writer are in place for the new Spice Girls' Viva Forever musical the timing has hit a stumbling block as the girls want to be involved in the stage spectacular but are all very busy with both work and family commitments. Victoria Beckham and Melanie Brown, are pregnant, while Emma Bunton gave birth to a son Tate last week.

Melanie Chisholm said: "We were planning to open around summer time but it's likely to be a Christmas show now. We've put it back to make sure it's right." She also said: "The script is funny and emotional. But there won't be any cameos from us."
