Tommy Steele will be appearing at The Lowry at Salford Quays this Christmas, playing Ebenezer Scrooge in Bill Kenwright’s record-breaking London Palladium production.
Tommy Steele’s legendary career includes over 20 hit singles, Hollywood movies including The Happiest Millionaire and Finian’s Rainbow and the award winning stage musicals Half a Sixpence, Hans Andersen and Singin’ in the Rain.
Scrooge the Musical will be playing at The Lowry from Monday 12th December 2011 to Saturday January 2012.
Before it opens at the Lowry, Scrooge the Musical plays at the Llandudno Venue Cymru 14th -19th November Liverpool Empire from 5th-10th December and in the New Year it is at the New Theatre in Oxford from 9th-14th January 2012.

Most of the time I just sit there and think to myself how much better this play would be if it were turned into a musical. With a musical, you know there will be campy dance breaks and impressive vocal numbers.
