Christie Brinkley joins Chicago on Wednesday

Supermodel Christie Brinkley was due to open in Chicago the musical playing Roxie Hart tomorrow (Monday 11th July), but  had to postpone her start date indefinitely last week due to her mother being admitted to hospital for emergency medical treatment.

Luckily all is now well and she flew in to the UK last night and is opening at the Cambridge Theatre on this Wednesday 13th July for six weeks until 27th August when the production closes. 

She joins  Jonathan Wilkes as Billy Flynn, James Doherty as  Amos Hart and Amra-Faye Wright (who has also come from the Broadway production)  as Velma.
