Weather problems in the Land of Oz

Michael Crawford came on stage before his final performances of the Wizard of Oz today to explain that there were some electrical problems (there are two electric board vans outside the theatre) due to the snow and ice.

The cast actually have go out onto the roof of the London Palladium  to get to the flying floor and so some of the magical effects cannot work. Also no revolve, no tilting stage and no trapdoor.Michael Crawford said  in his best Frank Spencer voice "we've got a problem" ....

Michael has been exceptional as the Wizard and brought so much to the show and the part - he will be sorely missed.
