The musical version of Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities is currently in rehearsal and due to open at the Charing Cross Theatre on 5th April where it runs until 12th May.

UPDATE 24th April 2012: Jonathan Ansell will not be doing all performances of A Tale of Two Cities. He will be performing on 5th-10th April inclusive and at Press Night on the 18th April. He then returns to the show on 24th April until the end of the run on 12th May. The role of Charles Darney will be shared with Antony Hansen who was the youngest Joseph finalist in Andrew Lloyd Webber's television show Any Dream Will Do,
The musical is dramatically staged by West End star Paul Nicholas and is in celebration of the bicentenary of Charles Dickens. Music by David Pomeranz and Book by Steven David Horwich and David Soames, John Cameron’s (Les Miserables) moving musical arrangements underscore Horwich’s compelling lyrics.
