Lunchtimes With... is a series of live, one-on-one interviews at London’s Criterion Theatre with some of the world's leading actors.
Next month BAFTA award winning actress Imelda Staunton who is best known for her performance in Mike Leigh's Vera Drake and as Professor Dolores Jane Umbridge in the Harry Potter films will be in conversation with critic and journalist Mark Lawson (Front Row). Tonight Imelda opens as Mrs Lovett in Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd playing opposite Michael Ball in the title role at the Adelphi Theatre.
Her platform takes place at 1.15pm on Thursday 26th April and has an informal “drop-in” feel, where you're welcome to bring your lunch and eat quietly. The conversation will last for 45 minutes and will end with an opportunity for audience members to ask their own questions. Each platform will revolve initially around the guest’s current production and role, before expanding to touch on other aspects of their career and life.
