Jonathan Ansell Auditioning for Jesus Christ Superstar

Paul Nicholas has just been talking to ITV's Loose Women about the production of A Tale Of Two Cities which he is producing and directing and which starts previews at the Charing Cross Theatre tonight.

Ex G4 member Jonathan Ansell is playing Charles Darnay for some performances with Anthony Hansen as an alternate.  Paul told the Loose Women that the reason Jonathan has become unavailable for the whole run is because he is auditioning for Andrew Lloyd Webber's ITV casting show Jesus Christ Superstar and has been released to take part in the selection process.

Jonathan Ansell is currently playing Charles Darney in Tale of Two Cities at Charring Cross as mentioned in the artical.
It is a fantastic production.
It kind of snap to the above poster as I have not heard of Alexander.
Jonathan's album Tenor at the Movies went straight to number 1 in the Classical Chart and stayed there for 3 weeks and reached Number 9 in mainstream charts making him the youngest tenor ever to top the Classical Charts
Jonathan was ''The man'' in tour of Whistle Down the wind
Jonathan played Boemer and 2 other characters in the 2010 National Tour of Lark Rise to Candleford.
