Liza Minnelli is returning to Royal Festival Hall for the
first time since 1973 for one night only on 1st March as part of Southbank
Centre's The Rest Is Noise Festival.
Her appearance is part of Southbank Centre's 'Berlin in the '20s and '30s' weekend on 1st-3rd March
which explores Weimar Berlin
as the centre of Germany's
political and artistic developments.
She will be performing her unique interpretation of cabaret
songs, jazz standards and Broadway tunes, including numbers from the 1972 film
Cabaret that brought her international stardom.
Bob Fosse's film Cabaret featuring Minnelli's Academy
Award-winning performance as Sally Bowles is being screened on
3rd March.
