Casting has just been announced for Ivan Menchell, Don Black and Frank Wildhorn's musical Bonnie & Clyde which receives a work in progress production at The Other Palace from 26th June to 1st July
Jamie Muscato (Bend It Like Beckham) will play Clyde Barrow alongside Evelyn Hoskins (Carrie) as Bonnie Parker. They will be joined by Rebecca Trehearn (Show Boat) as Blanche, , Ako Mitchell (Ragtime)(Preacher/Ensemble) and Amy Booth-Steel (A Pacifist's Guide to the War on Cancer) (Clyde's Mother / Governor/ Ensemble)
Completing the cast is Sam Ferriday (Ted), Joshua Dever (Buck), Nicolas Colicos (Clyde's Father/ Ensemble), Rebecca Lock (Emma Parker / Ensemble), Graham Bickley (Sheriff / Ensemble), Stanley Jarvis (Young Clyde) and Lucy Simmonds (Young Bonnie)
When Bonnie and Clyde meet, their mutual cravings for excitement and
fame immediately set them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their bold
and reckless behaviour turns the young lovers' thrilling adventure into
a downward spiral, with the lovers resorting to robbery and murder to
survive. As the infamous duo's fame grows bigger, their inevitable end
draws nearer. The 1967 American biographical crime film starred Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway in the title roles.
The production will be directed by Will Blum with musical direction from Bob Broad
