TIM MINCHIN has just announced his first UK tour of stand up shows since his sold-out national arena tour of Tim Minchin and his Orchestra in 2010-2011.
The show is running in October and November 2019 and is described as Old Songs, New Songs, F*** You Songs, hinting at a set
list of material from all aspects of Minchin's wide repertoire.
Presale tickets for the 2019 Back tour will be available at 9:00 am on 5th September for those who register via Ticketmaster's verified fan page. General sale tickets go on sale at 10:00 am on 6th September. Profit from a number of top price
seats will be donated to a UK charity - details of which will be
announced through his website soon.
Minchin's portfolio of work includes six albums, five live show DVDs and numerous television appearances. He wrote and composed Olivier Award-winning, Tony Award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated show Matilda the Musical which premiered in London's West End In 2011. In 2016 his new musical Groundhog Day, based on the 1993 film, was similarly a huge success and won him a second Olivier Award.
