Kristin Chenoweth, Trevor Dion Nicholas and Kevin Clifton join Elaine Paige and John Barrowman For All Star Musicals

The panel of critics for All Star Musicals has been announced, with Kristin Chenoweth, Kevin Clifton and Trevor Dion Nicholas joining Elaine Paige as judges overseeing celebrities including Corrie's Dan Brocklebank, I'm A Celebrity Extra Camp host Joel Dommett, money expert Martin Lewis, comedian London Hughes, Emmerdale's Amy Walsh, Only Fools and Horses and Grantcheser  actress Tessa Peake-Jones and garden expert and broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh performing famous musical theatre numbers in the the one-off ITV show being hosted  by John Barrowman at the London Palladium  The date for the show is currently unconfirmed but it is due to be to be shown this spring.. All Star Musicals was previously broadcast in 2017, featuring Michael Crawford and Freddie Flintoff with Corrie's Lucy Fallon winning the competition for her performance of Evita. 

As part of the show, Paige and Chenoweth will duet for the first time. There will also be  special performances from John and all of the panel. As well as being part of the panel, Elaine will also mentor the celebrities as they prepare for their big performance.

Chenoweth said: "The world needs more shows like All Star Musicals, and I'm honoured to celebrate the art of musical theatre with all the lucky people who get to watch it on television! I know this experience will be one for the books, and with the one and only Elaine Paige at the helm, it will undoubtedly be the best television special of the year. I count myself very fortunate for this opportunity." Her  credits include Pushing Daisies, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown and Glinda the Good Witch in the Broadway production of Wicked. 

Kevin Clifton won the most recent series of Strictly Come Dancing with partner Stacey Dooley and made his musical theatre debut in Dirty Dancing. He is currently starring as Stacee Jaxx in the tour of Rock of Ages.  

Trecor Dion Nicholas continues to play the Genie in the West End production of Aladdin.
