Love Story the musical has just finished playing at Chichester to rave reviews and Emma Williams and Michael Xavier who play the ill-fated lovers may well repeat their roles when it transfers to London’s West End later this year after it has been “tweaked” by the creative team.
The original lovers in the famous 1970 film were played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal, the stage show is truer Erich Segal's novel. Love Story the musical has a score by Howard Goodall, book and lyrics by Stephen Clark and was directed at Chichester by Rachel Kavanaugh.
Adam Spiegel is producing the transfer with Stephen Waley Cohen. They are looking for a venue which seats about 1000.
