Taylor Swift & Amanda Seyfried to join LesMis movie cast

Universal has offered country pop singer Taylor Swift the role of  Eponine and Amanda Seyfried (Sophie in the 2008 movie Mamma Mia!) Cosette in the Tom Hooper directed film of Les Miserables.

If  they agree the deals they will complete the stellar principal cast of  Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as Javert, Sacha Baron Cohen as Thenardier, Helena Bonham Carter at Madame Thenardier, Eddie Redmayne as Marius, Anne Hathaway as Fantine and Aaron Tveit as Enjolras.

Rehearsals start at the end of this month with shooting taking place in London in February and the film due for release at the end of this year in December.

Taylor Swift as Eponine!! Tell me it's not true!! I did n't really like any of the other candidates for Eponine, but Taylor is not a classical singer and she will never be able to learn in time for the movie! It should have been Samantha Barks!

As for Amanda, I'm not a fan of Mama Mia because I can't stand ABBA but she was good and she will do a good job if she works hard. I would prefer Emmy Rossum (Phantom of the Opera 2004)to play Cosette since Sierra Boggess is to old to play the role.
