Protest Over Russell Crowe's Performance in LesMis Film?

There were very mixed reviews over Russell Crowe's singing prowess compared to the rest of the cast in the film of Les Miserables and one unkind soul desmonstrated this by turning his mic up higher than anyone else's when they performanced at the Oscars ...

And now it seems the protest goes on as according to an article in the Telegraph police frogmen were called to the River Avon at Salford near Bath where a body was seen floating.  But what they pulled ashore was a life size dummy of Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert which was used when they filmed the suicide scene in the city last autumn!
