The full company has been announced for the upcoming revival of Me and My Girl at Chichester Festival Theatre. The new staging of the musical comedy is directed by Daniel Evans, with choreography from Alistair David and it runs from from July 2nd-August 25th, with a press night
on 9th July.
Joining the already announced Matt Lucas as Bill Snibson, Caroline Quentin as the Duchess of Dene, Clive Rowe as Sir John Tremayne and Alex Young as Sally are Lydia Bannister, Ronan Burns, Jennie Dale, Jacqui Dubois, Davide Fienauri, Lauren Hall, Siubhan Harrison (as Lady Jacqueline Carstone), Matt Harrop, Victoria Hinde, Melissa Lowe, Dominic Marsh (as The Hon Gerald Bolingbroke), Natasha Mould, Ryan Pidgen, Pippa Raine, Emile Ruddock, Charlotte Scott, Jak Skelly, Monica Swayne, Oliver Tester and Toyan Thomas-Browne.
The musical is set in Hampshire, Mayfair, and Lambeth in the late 1930s and tells the story of an unrefined cockney gentleman named Bill Snibson, who inherits a fortune when he learns that he is the 14th heir to the Earl of Hareford. It won an Olivier Award and features numbers including "Leaning on a Lamppost", "The Sun Has Got His Hat On", "The Lambeth Walk" and "Me and My Girl".
